Arteron Sdn Bhd is proud to announce the launch of its first two Water Filtration Systems the flagship RD-1 model and its lightweight sibling the IM-1. The result of extensive research and development and market analysis these two new systems have been developed to meet the immediate potable water needs of populations in remote and hazard-stricken location.

“Water is our lifeblood,” explains Arteron CEO Muralidheran Shanmugan. “And access to clean water is a human right we should all enjoy. We founded Arteron and began work on these mobile water filtration solutions when we realized that in some developing and disaster-stricken countries the treated static and piped water supplies were not reaching every corner of the population. Our goal was to deliver a series of mobile and portable solutions that could reach those corners and meet those needs.”

The RD-1 and IM-1 water filtration systems have been precision engineered to meet the rigorous requirements of crisis management professionals for the provision of potable water and exceed current World Health Organization standards for water quality. Flexible and adaptable, their modular design allows additional units to be stacked alongside a core unit to build larger treatment systems that can provide for instant local population surges and changes.

Light, rugged, portable, reliable and easy to use, the RD-1 and IM-1 can be instantly deployed in times of crisis or utilized as a precursor to developing long-term sustainable water solutions in some of the world’s most inhospitable inhabited zones. These are systems that will empower independent communities, enabling them to manage their own potable water needs.

To this end all of our water filtration systems have been designed with their operating environments in mind and require no complicated set-up procedure, training or prior engineering knowledge. Offering true plug-and-play functionality, using our systems really is as simple as connecting to the untreated water source and waiting for the clean water to flow.

RD-1: Dynamic, Flexible & Portable

The Arteron RD-1 Water Filtration System is a portable, modular precision-engineered water treatment system designed for use in remote or inaccessible locations and as a backup high quality water provision source for communities whose access to regular supplies of potable water may be limited by environmental or infrastructural factors.

The RD-1 is a rugged, instant deployment water filtration unit that can meet the water requirement needs of up to 500 people, providing as much as 100,000 litres of clean potable water per day. With its modular design, that capacity is quickly and easily extended by stacking multiple units around the original core unit to form larger systems that can cater to greater numbers of people.

This versatility coupled with its compact size, rugged portability and fast and simple installation combine to make the RD-1 a cost-effective and flexible resource that rapidly lends itself to multiple uses and applications.

IM-1: Ultimate Mobility

Also known as the Baby RD-1, the Arteron IM-1 is a feature-packed Water Filtration System that is highly mobile and is designed for use in the most demanding situations and environments. Smaller, lighter and more portable than the RD-1, the IM-1 weighs less than 100kg and comes transport-ready in a rugged, medium-sized trunk and is ideal for use in small communities and for emergency advance teams.

Despite its size the IM-1 sacrifices none of the functionality of its larger sibling and shares much of the same underlying technology. The IM-1 is a rugged, instant deployment water filtration unit that can meet the water requirement needs of up to 7000 people, providing as much as 35,000 litres of clean potable water per day.

Its small footprint makes it the ideal solution to turn almost any available water source – from river water to wells to contaminated mains supplies – into potable water for the surrounding community. This versatility combines effortlessly with the unit’s one-step installation, mobility and stowability to make the IM-1 the perfect on-hand water treatment solution for situations that require dynamic and rapid responses.
